Cloud Services

Pay for what you use

Browser sessions, shell environments, and extraction APIs are credit-based. Start with a free tier — credits only count after you add a payment method.

How credits work

Credits represent compute time. When you spin up a cloud browser or shell session, credits are consumed per minute based on the VM size you choose. One-off operations like scrapes, searches, and screenshots consume a flat number of credits per call.

Every account starts with a free tier. Credits only begin counting after you add a payment method. No surprise charges.

FAQ

Is Chrome Relay really free?

Yes — forever. No credit card required. Relay works by bridging your local Chrome browser into any MCP client. We make money on cloud services, not on Relay.

When do credits start counting?

Credits only begin counting after you add a payment method. Until then you operate on the free tier with no risk of surprise charges.

What's the difference between Relay and Browser Sessions?

Relay uses your local Chrome browser running on your machine — perfect for authenticated sessions. Browser Sessions are cloud-hosted VMs that spin up on demand for fully automated, headless workflows.

Do credits roll over?

Monthly plan credits reset at the start of each billing cycle and do not roll over. Add-on credit packs purchased separately do roll over.

Can I self-host?

The Browsr CLI supports a --local flag for running entirely on your own machine. For enterprise self-hosted deployments with dedicated infrastructure, contact us.
